Code block not working with empty lists

hello,
I cant seem to understand why this code block isnt working. What am I doing wrong?

What did you expect should happen?

I want it to return an empty list if it is blank in the unique identifer node, but otherwise return everything that is in that same node. This is returning empty list no matter what.
