Calling custom nodes from Python used to be possible in 0.6.3 but hasn’t made a comeback yet.

I agree, both features would be extremely useful.

You used to be able to also pass functions (custom nodes) into python block and call them which was very useful, and pass functions back out, I don’t think either of those works at the moment. But you should be able to call zero touch nodes from python if you import them with the import statement
