Rexter Retana is the BIM Manager for RSP Architects Planners & Engineers. He plays a strategic role in the development and implementation of BIM in RSP. He works across the architectural and structural departments and his responsibilities include: strategic BIM implementation, BIM management, staff training, research & development and generation of BIM standards and protocols.

Rexter is also actively involved in spreading BIM awareness across the region as a resource person for the BCA C&S BIM Manager’s workgroup, invited speaker for RTC Asia Conference, Skyscraper Asia Summit, Autodesk University, BiLT Asia, and co-founded the BIM Exchange User Group Singapore. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters of Science in BIM Management with Distinction. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering with specialisation on Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Computing and Big Data Analytics application in construction.
