Started “on the board” way back in 1978 and then graduated to digital drafting in 1982 (AutoCAD, and a VAX Terminal for calculations) and have never looked back. It is really amazing to see the changes that have happened (good and bad) over the years. 30+ years in Civil, Structural and Surveying has led to many areas of the USA and it still makes me smile when I look at the “Standards” (and gross lack thereof) that exist in different areas of the country.
