The extension allowed users to calculate energy efficiency of single family houses without needing to enter values such as areas, materials, volumes, … manually. That thesis was the starting point of a new career and a few weeks after graduating I started working as a BIM software developer. Since then I have created custom SketchUp, Revit, Autocad, Archicad extensions/addins for clients all over the world as well as full stack web apps (with a .net backend and react/threejs frontend) and integrations on various cloud platforms, such as Forge.
Since 2021 I try to bring 3D to the world of data analytics and made 3DBI, the, in my opinion , best 3D model viewer for Microsoft Power BI. The goal is simple: make it possible to connect any type of 3D model with any kind of data. For example, to visualize sensor data by colorizing 3D rooms coming from a Revit model, or to highlight all product locations that are currently free in a 3D model of your warehouse, or to highlight all columns that are scheduled to be poured today by combining data from your schedule with data and a 3D model coming from Revit…
