Tiago Caldeira is a Civil Engineer specialized in BIM. With 5 years of professional experience, he utilizes his knowledge on BIM implementation from concept to construction, enforcing BIM standards, templates and processes, making sure they are adopted throughout the project.

He has participated in multiple BIM infrastructure projects across the Middle East, such as Mixed-Use Developments, Stadiums and Arenas, Military Force Facilities, and Ports.

His experience includes developing BIM models for transportation, structures, landscape, wet and dry underground utilities, using mostly Autodesk products such as Civil 3D, Revit, Dynamo, InfraWorks, Navisworks and BIM 360 platform. He’s responsible for ensuring consistent quality and on-time delivery of technical models, coordinating a multidisciplinary team across multiple locations, organizations and time zones.

Tiago has worked for global engineering firms, his role involves championing the use of BIM processes and providing leadership and guidance for collaborative working. Acting as an information manager on BIM projects working towards BS EN ISO 19650 and devise and monitor suitable workflows for BIM processes, tailored to the needs of the project.
