Width and Length of a Ceiling to Text Parameter

Hi all,

I need to extract the “width” and “length” of all ceilings and input them in a text instance parameter.

The highlighted green parameters are instance/text project parameters required by the client.

Any help would be great - I’m stuck on where to start!!

Hi @L.Molendijk maybe get the ceiling surface and get the perimeter curves…or try element sketch from springs…depends what you mean with length/width, when your ceiling are not rect or square

I am wondering if there is a way to do this for all ceilings at the same time?

I’m getting stuck here where you have to select the value from a list. I was to select value 0 & 1 from each list and have that value pushed back into its respective ceiling. Do you think that’s possible?
