At this moment creating script for wall finishes by room bounding. I have a question about “auto lock in” function. Is there any possobility to attach wall finish (new created wall) to already existing one using dynamo ?
Sure, just add a layer to the Wall Type with 0 Thickness and don’t set Material.
Instead add a New Instance Shared Parameter in the ParameterGroup < Material>> Then populate that Parameter.
Add it to your Project Parameters, set to Walls Catagory
