I have a question about the volatility of typeId’s.
I know instance Id’s are volatile in a workshared environment, but how about TypeId’s?

I want to know, because i have to produce a consistent stream of documents from a federated model, drawings, BOQ and tender descriptions for all elements. So what i did was to create a shared parameter, map the typeId of all elements to that parameter and tag all items. So a tag would read: [TypeId, description]. Having the typeId on my drawings makes it easier to read the BOQ, there will be no doubt in what item is concerned. We share our shared parameterfile, so everyone in the federated model can tag accordingly.
