VASA 0.5.0 is on the package manager with support for Dynamo 4.2, so if you’re in Revit 2027 you’re good to go.

Dynamo 4.2 moved to .NET 10, which meant rebuilding VASA from the ground up rather than just recompiling. VASA’s nodes call into a C++ library under the hood, so that whole chain had to move over. It’s done and tested against the Dynamo 4.2.1.5887 that ships with Revit 2027 — nodes load, icons show up, everything runs.

Also in this release: an alternative sample distance function, plus a couple of distance field bug fixes.

On Dynamo 3.x, or Revit 2026 and earlier? Grab VASA 0.4.1 instead. 0.5.0 won’t load on those versions. If you already installed 0.5.0 and your nodes come in gray and unresolved, that’s why — uninstall it, install 0.4.1, and restart Revit.

Questions are welcome. If something won’t load, let me know your Dynamo version, your host and version, and whether you upgraded over an older VASA install.

Special thanks to @keanw for the review in getting this done!
