TinSurface.Triangles bug

sometimes, this error will happen. To resolve, i simple restart C3D and then it will work. Do we have any idea how this can be resolved?

Interesting…haven’t seen this before. Would you mind sharing the DWG?

Thanks for sharing the DWG. I’ve tried every combination I can think of and am not able to reproduce. Perhaps there’s a third-party addin or other environmental configuration that is contributing?

So the same thing happens (as we have corresponded with before) to the CIVILOBJECTS.SET NAME.

I will get an error Ewrite open state error is null …or something like that.

The solution is turn it off and turn it back on.

I wonder if these two things are related and are somehow being self inflicted by one of the SSOE CUI customizations?

Prob not enough info to even speculate…but

The only thing I can suggest at this point is to try and remove Dynamo packages and Civil 3D plugins one-by-one and see if the issues resolve when one of them is not loaded.

I’d say disable ALL C3D and Dynamo customizations and see if you can reproduce. Of so then it might be a bad installation, infosec or device issue and you can troubleshoot in reverse order (new profile, disable infosec or check logs, reinstall).

If not, add Dynamo back and see if you can reproduce. If so then one of your Dynamo customizations (package or view extension) is the culprit. Add back in small chunks until you find the culprit and remove that or update it.

If so add the C3D customizations back in small groups until you can reproduce and thereby identify the culprit. Remove that or update it to resolve.
