Studio fails to render graphics but the 3D grid is shown

We are aware of a Dynamo installer/upgrade issue that leaves Studio 1.3 in a state where it is impossible to render any 3D graphics yet the 3D grid is visible. This is different from the graphics card issues where no graphics are rendered and no 3D grid is visible. The typical scenario involves an installation of Revit and then an upgrade to Studio 1.3 from 1.1 or 1.2.

The workaround is to uninstall Dynamo completely from the machine, first from the Control Panel then removing all Dynamo folders and then, if necessary, using the Microsoft “Fixit” utility. Do not uninstall Revit. Then re-install Studio 1.3.
