Solid to Revit to Accept Reinforcement

If l have a solid loft, how can l import that into the Revit project, so it can then accept reinforcement?

You will probably need to import it as a structural family instance

I cannot find that node. Any ideas?

Please use the search tool before asking and show us what you tried if it does not work:

I did!

 So, does it work now?

Yes, but only via an adaptive family or mass component, then bring into a project environment.
I would prefer it to go directly into the project.

This could help:

  • Check “Can host rebar” (in “Family Category and Parameters” dialog) in a family based on the generic model template
  • Save as .rfa and change the extension to .rft
  • use this new template with Springs.FamilyInstance.ByGeometry from Spring Nodes (category = “Walls” for instance)

Would be better if it could occur directly within the project environment.

What does that mean precisely? Please send some screenshots or similar examples to make sure that you’re understood

It works in the Family environment, which in turn can be passed to the project environment, however, not directly from dynamo to project whilst being able to accommodate reinforcement.
