Wow, nice bug . . . I can reproduce this easily, and it still reproduces in current development builds. We'll take a look.

Quick note, it seems to go bezerk when adding the loft surface.
I've set minimum so that we couldn't get points on top of each other and if you change the values with only curves it works fine.
