Single line and double line piping in same view

I am attempting to change the detail level of pipe objects in a view independently so that pipe systems <2" will show as single line and pipe >2" will show as double line, but so far I have been unsuccessful. Is it possible to change the view detail level of a specific object in a view? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I’d recommend 2 views that are placed on top of each other on a sheet. One that filters out all pipes 2" and above set to “one line”, the other set to filter out pipes less than 2" set to “double line”. The views will snap to each other on the sheet when they’re aligned.
