Silly question - a way to constrain nodes orthogonaly when moved?

Is there a way to constrain nodes when you move them… so that they remain at the same y location. Perhaps a key press and move.

As far as I know, there is no such possibility, but there is something more awesome if you group the nodes:

  1. Initial stage:
