I was just wondering if there was any way to use the wind tunnel feature with a model section to see how air moves in and through a building. Also I know its not a feature but will there be a feature to import other model types such as 3ds?
Thomas, there is nothing stopping you from attempting this type of analysis. Unlike solar radiation and CEA, the Wind Tunnel does not require a Revit/Vasari solid. So, you can import a DWG/DXF from 3DS or a SKP from Sketchup, or even a detailed Revit model and run it through the wind tunnel. Keep in mind, since this is not really what it is currently designed for, you will have to set up your model carefully - and even then, we cannot guarantee your results. That said, in the spirit of experimentation, give it a try and post your results here!
