Revit & BOMA using Dynamo

Hello,

I am new to Dynamo and was wondering if anyone had any experience in using Dynamo to calculate BOMA. I’ve created an Area schedule with the parameters required to get rentable area, the problem is that it’s a bit cumbersome because you have to manually insert column totals to be able to use them in in the formula of an adjacent column. It would also be great to link the revit schedule to an excel file through Dynamo, if this is at all possible.

Please see the link below to see the schedule I’m working with:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Kayla

Kayla,

I’m new as well. Although not strictly using BOMA I am working with data and it is definitely easier working with it in Excel. I followed along with ArchSmarter’s youtube video on exporting and importing Revit data to Excel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlKnNW9KqSU
I’ve been able to modify it for my needs.
