How to I get my dynamo to show package icons? I got none (pic 1), but when ever I watch tutorials etc. the presenter got icons on their UI (pic 2). Is it possible, can it be done?

Looks like you have a different version than the person who was running the tutorial - which version are you using?

You’re UI is correct for that release.
