Placing dimensions from an air terminal in a space to the closest separation line or space boundary

Super  ! Thank you!!!

Don’t know what I’m doing wrong, changed the refplanes but it just doesn’t work. I’m sorry for being such a rookie :frowning: .

I know I’ve been asking a lot but could you make the same change for this family (and maybe explain what has changed)? I’m eager to learn…

Many thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Johan

Hi Johan,no worries ;), i have just test the diffuser and seems have same issue as the other, select the terminal, go edit family, go to ref level view and set the refplanes reference as here and load into project again and should work
RevitnaiVXIK02i

Dears, I have been trying to implement this script to my own REVIT model but it’s not working for me.

I get a lot of NameErrors about False, True and Null and apart from that nothing happens except Dynamo crashes.

My situation is also a bit different so maybe that’s the reason. I have 3 files; 1 revit file contains architecture, 1 contains ventilation (among other things) and in the third file I have electric and annotations. The last one serves as a coordination model to implement the other two.

Could this be the reason it’s not working for me? I have to admit I am a total beginner in Dynamo/Python so I tried to make do. Maybe I was doing something wrong, IDK. I don’t currently have anyone within our company who can help me with this so it’s difficult to make any progress. I hope you could help me!

Hello @nicky.vanhoof and welcome to the forum  , hard to say, and as you say its another situation, so please create a new topic for that and share all you have so far…good luck
