Likely your graph is taking longer to execute than the periodic runtime, creating an infinite loop. Adjust the periodic runtime to a longer period (say 2 minutes) and see if that resolves the issue.
FWIW, I do not recommend creating Revit content in periodic mode. There are better methods for animating creation sequencing.
