Non Built-In Subcategory Visibility

I have Families that are Generic Annotations with Custom Subcategories to control via Visibility/Graphics.

Starting to look into toggling the visibility of the Custom Subcategory before sending a set to print.

Through all of my research, it does not appear that it is exposed in the API to handle that task, but wanted to confirm that before going down a road of finding all instances of family per view and setting to hide and a separate task to show. The graph shown is not finished, wanted to wait and confirm before finishing.

Iā€™m a little late to the party but you can control sub-categories visibility similar to top-level categories. HideSubCategories

Graph is a little clunky but it seems to be working at the moment.
