Is it possible to use Dynamo to modify parameters in family types that have not yet been places in a project? I have done this for types that have been placed, so I am trying to avoid the need to place family just so I can modify their parameters.
Do you mean editing Type Parameters of unplaced families? Instance Parameters only exist once a family is placed because the “instance” refers to the placed family. Until it is placed, it only exists as a type…if you want to edit type parameters, you need to be editing the parameters of the “Family Symbol”
