# Modification volum

I would like to know how to modify the elevation of a selected volume with dynamo with slider and also to modify the altitude on excell and to see a change on revit and inversely

@bamba2030 - I’m sensing a trend with your posts asking along of basic questions which some basic learning will cover. I suggest you take a day to go through the [Dynamo Primer](https://primer.dynamobim.org) as that will save you a LOT of time and give you many of the examples you are after. Be sure to not skip anything - even if it feels boring or like you won’t need it the concepts covered are too important to skip.
