Regular Section Boxes in Revit are cuboids, which is great except when trying to see a snaking run of elements as they go through a complicated building. I am looking for ideas of ways to get a run of something (e.g., Conduit), expand its geometry a few feet in all directions, and hide everything else in the view, including elements in Revit Links.
Result would be a combination of these two effects:
Hi,
I think, we can just select the conduit, use its curve, make it bigger by using MEPover package bu increasing the dia and convert that to a bounding box (deleting it later). Then the intersecting elements can be manipulated accordingly.
However, iām not sure how can we hide the specific linked elements, as that cannot be done in revit aswell, manually.
I know this is a old topic, but if you have come across the solution already, please share.
