# List map issue?

Hi Community!,

I’m having to step back into a previous version I am not familiar with (.9) and have run across an issue that I believe was traditionally solved with list.map. I’m able to get the intended result in newer versions of dynamo by adjusting the list @list to 1 (image below). I know I can also specify one index through get item at index but not multiple. the image below is from 1.3 for troubleshooting purposes, showing the intended results using level selection, how do i do this when unable to select the levels in the previous version? I feel like this is a bonehead question, any help would be greatly appreciated.

got it, even though it produces a null it still works. solution below.
