"Image mapping" for wave fin ceiling, grasshopper to dynamo

Hello!

I’m new to Dynamo and want to make a wave fin ceiling for an architectural project. I’ve made the ceiling in grasshopper using image mapping (see pic of GH definition

), and would like to to the same in dynamo. However, I can’t find a good way of going from picture and color values to elevation of points in a grid that will be the basis for the fins…

Has anyone got the solution for this?

Yeah, thats it! I’m making acoustic plates for a ceiling:

So then I’ll just adapt for my geometry the dynamo model.
