How to Set Target Mapping for the Left and Right Sides of a Corridor

I am currently looking for a way to set corridor widening (width) targets based on an existing polyline.
At the moment, I am not sure about the correct approach, so I do not have a Dynamo (.dyn) file to share yet. I apologize for that.

I have recorded a video showing the workflow I would like to achieve in Dynamo.
However, since the video file is larger than 10 MB, I have shared it via the Autodesk Drive link below.

If anyone has any suggestions or guidance on how this could be done, I would really appreciate it.

Basically, my goal is to create a Dynamo script with the following logic:

I have found a tutorial video related to this topic, but in my case, within the same region, I need to set widening targets for both the left and right sides using polylines.

Not sure if I understand your issue, do you want to set the width for edge of pavement or the total width of the corridor, including slopes for cut and fill?

According the recording, what I understand is that the creator add the polyline as a target for width of the lane, for example to create a bus stop or something similar. Is that what you want to achieve?

Thank you for your time.
As you mentioned, I would like to widen the carriageway in a way similar to bus stop widening. The difference is that, at multiple locations, I need to apply the widening on both the left and right sides.

This is a possible solution but you need to apply the dyn file to your need. for example the subassembly parameters

SetTargetMappingForTheLeftAndRightSidesOfACorridor.dyn (45.9 KB)

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
I used the Dynamo file you shared and was able to successfully resolve the issue I was facing.
I truly appreciate your help and support.
I learned a lot of new things from your Dynamo Script.

Thank you so much!
Wishing you a great day!
