# HostedInstance.ByPoints

Hello Everybody!  
I have an issue and I need your help,  
I tried many times to use the block “Spring.HostedInstance.ByPoints”, and I have as output a liste “null”.  
I thought the problem was because the family was not hosted on face.  
So I changed the family in order to be hosted on face.  
But still I cannot do it.  
Does somebody know the problem?

Hi @PPF

Input Host at Springs.HostedInstance.ByPoints should be Element of that Face/Surface. Currently you’re feeding host as surface.
