Horizontal frames...why?

Hi I’m having some serious relationship issues with Dynamo Studio.

When trying to use horizontal frames at parameters I seem to get the frames almost as though they have been normalised, rather than at the parameters that I specified.

Whats even more frustrating… the ordinates appear correct. Am i missing a trick somewhere.

I am running DS1.3.0.881.

Could some kind gentleperson have a look :eyeglasses: at the two curves (a straight line and a simple nurbs) in order that I retain my sainity.

thanks

Kenyon

It looks like you’re trying to drive a family element in Revit, yes?

Check that the RFA file doesn’t have the ‘Always Vertical’ parameter set. If it is a face-based family you will also have to first define a Reference plan before placing it.

If you’re trying to place a two-point-pick family, try sending two points as the Geometry you pass to the Instancing node.

Hi Adrian, thanks for the response, I am running Dynamo Studio, outside of revit and pushing data into SAP2000.

I also tried to run the DS definition with Dynamo within Revit (I’m back in the office) same result.

Seems a little odd.
