Help! Creating wall with Linked AutoCAD

Hello, ladies and gentlemen
I’m a student studying a civil drafting course at TAFE and self-studying Revit Dynamo automation.

What I want to automate is one-storey building structural modeling which I learned last semester.

Step-by-step, I linked a simple exterior and internal wall drafting to learn how to make walls using Dynamo.

I’ve searched on Google and tried the way that is in the picture, but it returns ‘null’ and does not create walls.

When I created walls using ‘ByCurveAndHeight’, the location line option was fixed‘core center line’. I couldn’t change that option by dynamo or manually.

Can anyone help me please?

Only the outermost border line is on the ‘WALL_EXT’ layer.

can you clarify what you mean i.e are you saying the dropdown in the Wall Location node does not work ? Best to show the error
Another thing to check is that your CAD link is at the correct scale i.e not trying to create extremely small walls

Pay attention to the direction of the lines if you are using external lines. It is preferable to draw relative to the core center line.
