Grid within a polycurve

Is it possible to create a 1 m grid within a poly curve (not rectangular) and then place an element at that point ?

so i have a forest and to represent that i have drawn a spline around the edge of it. i want to place a 1mx1m grid inside the spline and project them points onto a topo and then insert a tree on every point… hope that makes sense.

If you mean place an element at an insertion point, then yes - you could try using the ‘Atmos’ node "Atmos.XY.pointDistribution’ as shown below:

For your case, just make the ‘resolution’ equal to roughly 1m apart?
