# Getting a view's "Referencing Detail" parameter

View List schedules cannot access the “Referencing Detail” and “Referencing Sheet” parameters are that shown in a view’s instance parameters. Here is my current attempt to get this information so I could put it in a text Project Parameter I created called “Ref Detail”:

Any thoughts why the Element.GetParameterValueByName doesn’t work?

No, I did not find a solution to this issue. Honestly, I have forgotten why I wanted to do this at that time.

Hi @Damon_Sidel @dilfreak

You need to get access to Viewports of sheets to get those parameters. “Sheet.Viewports” is from archi-lab package.

your input is View Type, while only View have Referencing Detail and Referencing Sheet
