Get location of elements in IFC conversion

Hi all,

I’m having trouble with querying locations for elements in a third parties model which has been converted from IFC.

Neither the OOTB Element.GetLocation and Element.Location+ from Clockwork can return any location data, as in the below image. Element.GetLocation returns ‘The location of the structural element is not a valid curve’. The example shows the results for columns but the same result occurs with any element I’ve tested.

Is this a known problem with IFC conversions? Is there any workaround?
