# Get host and Values from dimensions, how?

Hello,

Can i get values and the host(s) of a dimension?

**dimension.host**

Can I sum up values for examples? or can i trigger values ? f.e. if it is 2500 write Upper Text ,…

is the host exposed to the API ?

You can certainly get the Value from the dimensions.

However, the “Host” may be a little harder because it is actually a reference that is embedded within a host that the dim snaps too.

You may have to gather the walls and get Thier references and then compare.
