Filtering both type and instance parameters?

Sorry for being such a newbie. But I have now spend some time looking for how to filter both type and instance parameters. And I have difficulties filtering walls of being interior or exterior and then the structural usage. It seems that the filtering transforms the wall from instance to type. Here is an example:
