I am trying to pick up the space of some linear items such as pipes, ducts, etc… However, it does not allow me. giving the below warning. But It works perfectly for Equipment etc…

Hello @Charbel dont think system families [duct,pipes] are family instance [loadable] and probably make sense…which space should it belong to with a pipe there go into many spaces
A better alternative is to get the best point that represents each object (e.g. bounding box centroid, location point, centre of underlying location curve etc.) and then use this API method:
yeah with a point at 0.5 here and probably split the pipe in every spaces
