Got a DYN that became 2.84 MB when similar ones are 1/10 that. What has happened? How to clear it?
That’s generated from the “usability data reporting” feature. It looks like gibberish because it’s encrypted. Usually it bloats up when you copy and delete large numbers of nodes over and over. It shouldn’t cause any direct slowdown because that part of the DYN file is ignored by Dynamo but it might have some slight effect on the time needed to open the file. If it’s bothering you, turning the setting off and saving the file should remove that section. If it doesn’t then you can just delete it manually.
