# Defining constant variables from excel using function\_takes too much time for other nodes using the variables

Hi,

I have tried different methods to define constant variables in dynamo, and tried I had it when I wrote a function importing the variables from an excel-file, and then saving the values into what dynamo calls methods. My problem now is that it seems like the script goes through even though I get a lot of errors in the code blocks using the variables…
