# CurtainPanel.ByElement

Morning all,  
i just noticed that the CurtainPanel.ByElement node will fail if you feed a Curtain Wall that has Doors or Windows in it. Even if they we’re built as Curtain Panel.  
Thank god for Clockwork’s Element.Panels but shouldn’t this be builtin?

I reported this over three years ago. Nothing happened. Hence the Clockwork node. 🙂

Also, be aware that panels reported by both nodes will include what I call phantom panels if your curtain wall contains non-quadrilateral panels (auto-generated when removing grid segments).

The latest Clockwork version has a node called CurtainPanel.IsPhantomPanel for identifying those panels so you can filter them out (useful for element numbering etc.).
