Hello!

I’m currently learning how to use Dynamo for Civil 3D and having trouble with the “Assembly.AddSubassembly” node. In my current project, I have an assembly for the pavement package that I want to apply to my corridor, and I’m trying to add a custom subassembly at the right border point. However, when I run the Dynamo script, instead of placing the new subassembly at the desired location, it positions it at the center of the assembly. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Below is the Dynamo script I’m using:

I appreciate any help in solving this problem.

Hi and welcome to the forum. To help you we need to see the name of the nodes, please upload a new screenshot where we can see the names. It can be done by exporting the workspace using the function in the upper right corner but remember to zoom in enough to see the name of the nodes (you don’t need to see the complete graph when you use that function, it will catch all nodes anyway)

Hi Patrick! Sorry for that, I will take it into account when asking another thing in the forum. Thank you for clarifying this for me.

I finally managed to find a solution thanks to this post in the Civil3DToolkit feedback thread.
