# Changing the background colour On dynamo 2.0

Ive searched on here but the most recent post is 2016 and the method no longer works.

Does anyone know what file to modify to change the background colours of dynamo?

Be sure to make a backup of the `Modern` folder before you do anything, just so you can revert your changes if anything goes wrong. You can also modify the `DynamoColorsAndBrushes.xaml` file.
