Category.ByName cannot be resolved

I downloaded a small dynamo example, but I get the error in the picture attached and I do not know how to fix it. I did not find error similar in the forum

Looks like you may be using an older version of Dynamo. Update to the latest and see if that gets resolved.

I have revit 2019.1

You’re missing one year’s worth of updates. Update to 2019.2.2 and Dynamo 2.0.3 and see if that solves the issue.

Note that with Revit 2019.1 you are not going to be able to access any autodesk services which interact with the web due to missing security updates. The above screen shot seems to be from Dynamo Sandbox.


Here is the same screenshot I get in Revit 2019 with Dynamo 1.3.4 ( Ido have 2.0.3 installed as well, which is triggering the “up to date”. But your original screenshot definitely seems to not be from Revit)

@m.ridi220, are you positive you opened Dynamo from Revit, then opened the DYN?

I fixed the issue by installing the new version 2.03
