Can Revit updates make Dynamo fail?

I have a couple of scripts that write to extensible storage.

They worked fine on Friday.

IT updated our systems over the weekend and now I just can’t get the scripts to work.

They run fine, they say they’ve written the data to storage but when I try to retrieve the data the fields say they’re blank.

Yes, Revit updates can break any Revit API call, including extensible storage.

For extensible storage it is more likely in 2024 and 2025 product lines where there are updates to how extensible storage are handled.
