in a new project i am working on the customer wants the roomname on every outlet and switch.
I need to fill the parameter Customer.Room in all electrical appliences with the information from a parameter called Number in a MEP Room.
Help is appreciated !!
I don’t recommend rebuilding product features when you don’t have to.
To report this automatically you can enable the room calculation point on the families. From there you can add room parameters to a schedule of fixtures and get them all to report correctly. This will ensure the data is always reported correctly, and you won’t have to do 20000 cross product lacing checks either.
