I am having al sorts of problems with creating tags in an elevation view.

The script that works fine in plan for doors and windows and walls, using Tag.ByElement.
It does not work in vertical views (the tags are created all on the level, flat).

Now I have looked into Create Independent Tag, and I am getting this error:

Has anyone successfully created tags on a vertical view? Windows, door, whatever.

Hi @Giovanni_Succi,

Can you show the previews under the nodes ?
Which version of Revit do you use ?
The node works fine in elevation view, see below.
