Hello,
I know this has been discussed at nauseam, but, in my specific example attached, could anyone suggest the best solution?
I just need to find a rational framework for all elements in a Revit Browser…
There are 3 numbered questions.
I know number 3 might just not get an answer, meaning there is no category for Loads Report…
Thank you so much.
to question no.1
isn’t it the family name? there should be a parameter called “Family and Type” which contains the string you want.

Well, it’s a tricky task. First of all, don’t forget that you have 2 branches of families : system and loadable.
If you want to get all types of loadable families, it’s pretty straightforward.
You can use either get all elements of FamilySymbol Class
or get all elements of Family Class and then Family.Types
But with system families, it’s more tricky. You’ll have to pick each class for each system “category“. Like WallType, FloorType etc.
If you want to get overall number of types, you may also use All Family Types of Category node (Clockwork package) and feed to it the list of all categories. Maybe not perfect solution, but may work for you.

Also check the available OOTB nodes once you know the type
